Eat & Drink in the Comox Valley
Farm to Fork, Dock to Dish
The First Nations who first settled the Comox Valley knew there was something special about this place. Game was readily available and the forest was like a banquet of wild berries, mushrooms and other foraged plants. And like that old expression goes; when the tide goes out, the table is set. When the first settlers arrived, they too discovered fertile sun-dappled valleys that could yield fields of corn, hay and a cornucopia of vegetables and fruits, rivers running with salmon and an ebbing tide that revealed a bounty of oysters and clams. Some things never change. Or rather, they just get better. Today in the Comox Valley farm to fork and dock to dish aren’t just catch phrases, they’re a reality.
