You will be able to choose camping settings from sites along the lake shore at Comox Lake in Cumberland, along the Puntledge River in Courtenay, to forest settings and full service RV parks.

 

Kin Beach Provincial Park

Kin Beach Provincial Park is a classified as a Class “C” park, whereby the park is managed by a local community board.

Located in the Comox Valley on central Vancouver Island, Kin Beach Provincial Park offers a large day-use area with picnic facilities and a playground, as well as a campground. This small park overlooks the Strait of Georgia and offers scenic views of the mainland. Visitors and local residents head to Kin Beach to explore the rocky beach or enjoy a picnic under the shade of mature Douglas fir trees.

Tee Pee Park Campground/Air Force Beach

The priority use of Tee Pee Park Campground/Air Force Beach are military personnel, their families, authorized personnel and guests; however, the general public may book a campsite or purchase a Beach Parking pass for access to Air Force Beach services provided by Tee Pee Park.

Cape Lazo RV and Campground

Cape Lazo RV & Campground is a family owned and operated beautiful 6.5 acre property with 62 full service RV sites, just metres from the beach and minutes from downtown Comox.

Kitty Coleman Provincial Park

Kitty Coleman Provincial Park is classified as a Class “C” Park, whereby the park is managed by a local community board.

Situated on the south side of the Strait of Georgia, Kitty Coleman Provincial Park is a popular destination for swimming, boating, fishing, and oceanfront camping. The park protects the mature forest of Western hemlock, Western red cedar and Douglas fir in the upland portion, the estuary of Kitty Coleman Creek, and 900 metres of shoreline. Park facilities include a picnic shelter, picnic tables, pit toilets, two boat launches, several nature trails and camping for individuals and groups.
