CALLING ALL FEMALE RIDERS!! Mt. Washington Alpine Resort is proud to team up with Gravity MTB to offer a 2-day lift-accessed “Ladies Only” clinic and “Funduro” race at Vancouver Island’s mountain bike destination resort!
The clinic will be geared towards ladies who are new to the sport of mountain biking as well as experienced riders who are looking to improve their skills while experiencing the thrill of riding in a bike park. It will focus on our Green and entry-level Blue trails and teach basic skills such as body position, cornering, braking/accelerating, line choice, trail manoeuvres as well as Bike Park etiquette and safety.
The weekend will be made up of professional instruction by our PMBIA-certified coaches as well as yoga/stretching sessions, scenic chairlift rides and optional hikes, ZipTours and Disc/Mini Golf. Stunning views and a laid-back atmosphere with like-minded ladies paired with professionally maintained flowy trails and additional activities will make for a very memorable weekend!
NEW this season is an added ladies-only “Funduro” race on day #2 of the camp! Not only will your coach teach you the basics of mountain biking, but also how to successfully race in an enduro-style event. You’ll get a chance to do laps of the racecourse as a “sneak peek” while learning tips and tricks of mountain bike racing from your coach.
