COVID-19 Update – Opening
The Vancouver Island Visitor Centre has opened for in-person services, with social distancing and safety protocols in place, as directed by WorkSafeBC. This will allow the Centre staff to service local area residents in determining safe, stay-cation activities and to pick-up pre-ordered, locally made arts and craft items sold via the Discover Comox Valley Online Store.
Pick-up and Drop-in Hours: 9:30 am – 4:30 pm
Phone and Email Service: 9 am – 5 pm daily
We encourage residents to call, email or use our new live Chat Bot feature (Available from 9:30 am – 4:00 pm), as their first choice for accessing our services at this time.
For those that live outside of the Comox Valley, dream now of your next trip to our region, but explore BC later, to help flatten the curve together. We look forward to welcoming you to the Comox Valley upon the approval of government health authorities.

The Comox Valley Business Services Directory was created by Comox Valley Economic Development & Tourism to provide a tool for local businesses such as restaurants, retail service providers, farm markets/stands, and winery/brewery/distilleries to outline their current services being offered to the public in one common location.
The Comox Valley Visitor Guide can be found online or you can request a hard copy by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your mailing address. These requests will be processed as soon as possible. Our team is monitoring online channels for updates on business closures and event cancellations or postponements; we are tracking this information to stay as informed as possible. Should you have important business updates, please contact any member of Discover Comox Valley Tourism Team directly.
We are here to assist and support our local tourism industry. We continue to monitor this public health issue very closely. Vancouver Island Visitor Centre is an important resource for travel information and while now is not the time to travel, we are here to help you prepare for and plan your trips in the future #ExploreBCLater.
The Vancouver Island Coastal Tourism Resiliency Program provides Vancouver Island, Gulf Islands and Sunshine Coast tourism businesses with meaningful, hands-on guidance and support to navigate the immediate impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, adapt and work towards long-term resiliency.
