How to Explore the Comox Valley Responsibly

Travel in smaller groups and spend more time in fewer places. Avoid large groups/gatherings.

Be AdventureSmart by planning your hiking trips and help keep our Search and Rescue safe by being prepared. Bring your own hand sanitizer, wipes and disposable bags for when visiting parks.

Continue to follow the direction of the provincial health officer’s guidelines and procedures along with BC’s Restart Plan.

BC Ferries are operating at a reduced capacity with a limited schedule so please check here for updates and sailing times.

Do not travel if sick or have been sick in the last week, please stay home.

Plan Ahead:

  • Book your accommodation, activities and experiences before leaving home
  • Review all booking and cancellation policies
  • Research what is open in the areas you want to travel

Practice the 2 metre physical distancing, attractions and activities have limited spaces to ensure physical distancing so book ahead.

Respect the safety protocols and procedures set in place by local businesses.

Wash hands regularly and consider wearing a mask in public.
