City of Courtenay Business Information
Business Licence Information – To operate within the City of Courtenay, you will be required to purchase a business license. Due to Inter-municipal bylaw amendments, you may be able to receive a business license for both the City of Courtenay and the Town of Comox.
One-Stop Business Registry – The One-Stop business registry system allows you to do multiple registrations for your business all in one place.
Zoning Bylaws – The City of Courtenay Bylaws contain provisions that regulate the use, size, height, density and location of buildings on properties within the City.
Zoning Map – The zoning Map for the City of Courtenay outlines the type usage that each parcel of land is regulated to be used for.
Official Community Plan – Our Official Community Plan provides a policy framework for Council by addressing important issues such as housing, transportation, economic development and the environment.
Downtown Revitalization – The City of Courtenay has developed a vision for the future of downtown Courtenay. A series of consultation events invited the public, including the downtown business community, to have a say in the downtown revitalization process.
