Douglas Walker is a Canadian sculptor based on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Working mainly with a variety of recycled objects he creates sculptures that are best described as whimsical and Goldberg-like. He is best known for turning discarded musical instruments such as tubas and trombones into water features. By melding and blending common cast-off objects, he has proven himself an accomplished sculptor whose designs are easily recognizable. Works created by Douglas can be found throughout North America, the UK, France, United Arab Emirates and Australia.
