MARS Wildlife Rescue Visitor Centre: Explore Life on the Wild Side!
Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 10am to 3pm
(Wildlife hospital is open 9am to 5pm daily for patient intake. The hospital is not open to the public.)
The MARS Visitor Centre is a must for anyone who cares about nature and is curious about the complex work of wildlife rehabilitation. We welcome animal enthusiasts of all ages! Drop by to explore our exhibits hall and gift shop, or book a more extensive by-donation guided tour. Hear stories of rescue, recovery, rehabilitation, and release of our animal patients. Get an eagle-eye view into our flight pen and meet our resident educational birds, including Brinley the Great-horned Owl and our albino crows Nimpkish and Kokish. Indoors, discover interactive displays featuring raptors, waterfowl, and other native wildlife. For young naturalists, we have engaging hands on-activities and cool artifacts to discover. Finish your visit in our wonderful gift shop with books, toys, puzzles, and wildlife-themed local photography and crafts. Help us help wildlife, one patient at a time.
