Self expression is fuel, it has a magic to it that keeps me in a state of flow for hours at a time. How I got here is simple really, but not effortless. It took many years of practice and overcoming self criticism. I followed my desire to be an artist because I was fascinated, mostly awe struck, by art in many forms. I admired (and still do admire) any artists’ ability to express in a way that resonates with others. I can’t always explain why a piece of art excites me, and I’m not alone in that. What makes art meaningful is very subjective. And although it's fun to explore how and why any given work affects you, sometimes there is no explanation, just a feeling.
