Wendy's Glassworks

I am a fused glass artist living in the beautiful community of Union Bay just south of Courtenay. I have a home studio at the rear of our property that is my little piece of heaven.  I have always been fascinated by glass and the play of light it creates. I started creating in stained glass in the early 80's and transitioned to fusing glass once I retired. Fusing has opened up a whole new world by being able to heat the glass in a kiln and slumping it into many shapes creating useful dishes and also funky art pieces. I make everything from bowls, platters, jewelry to wall art. So many ideas, so little time! Check out some of my work on Facebook and Instagram.

My studio is open all year by appointment. There is always some new finished pieces to see as well as the next creation in progress.
