Whether you are in the planning stages of your Comox Valley vacation or have arrived in the area and don’t know where to begin, the Vancouver Island Visitor Centre is your go to spot for ideas, suggestions, and information about things to do in the Comox Valley.
Situated just off the main highway with a real CT-114 Tutor Jet (formerly Snowbird 5) perched outside it, the information centre offers a picnic area and playground outside and K’ómoks First Nation art, exhibition gallery and gift shop inside.
The friendly, knowledgeable staff are happy to help you create unforgettable experiences in the local area.

- Open 7 days a week in July & August from 9:30am - 4:30pm
- Closed on Holidays
Summer Mobile Visitor Information Kiosks
- Courtenay - Thursdays from 8:30am - 4pm at the corner of 5th Street and England Ave
- Cumberland - Wednesdays & Thursdays from 9am - 4:30pm at Village Square on Dunsmuir Ave
- Comox - Fridays from 9am - 4:30pm at Marina Park & Sundays from 9am - 4:30pm on Comox Ave
- Also at weekly Farmers Markets' in Courtenay, Comox and Cumberland
Visitor Centre Rentals: The Visitor Centre space is available for community organizations to rent, more information on the Comox Valley Regional District's website here.
